Hi, My name is Brittany Grant, I am a licensed clinical social worker. I have two master's degrees. My first degree is a master in human services counseling with a specialization in addictions and recovery.  My second degree is a masters in social work.

I have been in the field of social work for six years. I have experience working with adults experiencing anxiety and depression but my passion is working with children. My chosen population is working with children between the ages of 5 to 18.  My specialty is working with trauma but I also have experience in ADHD, OCD, anxiety and depression.

I feel that as a social worker some of the challenges that individual’s are facing are struggling in managing the different reactions from everyday events. When it comes to children parents can struggle in understanding why their children are acting out, my goal as there clinician is to assist them in being able to identify how there emotions are affecting there behaviors and how they are able to appropriately express themselves to their parents or other adults.` For adults with depression and anxiety they can struggle in feeling that their feelings matter and may struggle in how to deal with everyday stress that they experience.
